Credits are the unit of measurement for API usage. Different API services cost different amounts of credits per request. For example, a Name Parser request costs 4 credits, while a Name Matcher request costs 5 credits. Only successful requests are charged.

Subscriptions renew monthly and are designed for ongoing processing like verifying new customer signups. One-time credits are purchased once, have a limited validity period, and are ideal for batch processing — for example, cleaning up name data in an existing database.

On-premise is ideal for organizations requiring full data sovereignty, strict compliance regulations (GDPR, DORA, NIS2), extremely high throughput with no request limits, or integration into air-gapped environments. Cloud API is great for getting started quickly and scaling flexibly.

The setup fee covers installation on your infrastructure, initial configuration, and integration support. The annual license includes the software license, 4 software updates per year with the latest data and features, and 20 hours of dedicated support.

Yes. You can upgrade your cloud API subscription at any time. For on-premise deployments, you can switch from Name Matcher or Address Validation to the full Search Cluster platform. Contact our team to discuss the best path for your needs.
